It was jammed once
but it was only because a switch was accidentally pressed. After the problem was identified, it was performed quite well.
Excellent Product. I would rate it a 5! It is very reliable and it has never jammed during my time with it!
It could have been a bit faster and used larger cups. The only problem is that the cup can sometimes overfill and spill into adjacent cups if it counts up $100 in quarters. It wouldn't happen if it was just a bit taller.
Now counting and sorting coins is much easier!
I first sorted coins and then again sorted them to confirm that the exact same amount was found. The same number was obtained, and I sorted them into the bins. The coin tubes were then filled with pre-formed wrappers. Because my batch was mostly pennies, the machine stopped frequently so that I could change the wrapper. This was the most tedious part. Instead of having to go through the boxes and find the right one each time, I now just have to line them up. This allows me to quickly grab the right one and replace it. There is no handling of coins, except shoveling them into the hopper. No jams. It's a great machine. It's very nice.
THE BEST COIN SORTER PERIOD!
AMAZING! It can be used to count and roll over $300.00 worth of loose coins each day. So far, it has been 100% accurate. ZERO jams, ZERO mistakes. This is the best!
A good gift
This was actually a gift I bought for my husband. He loves collecting coins. He is always on the lookout for coins wherever we go. When the cashier gives me change, he always asks me to give it to him so that he can examine the change and see if any older coins are there. Over the years, he has collected a lot of coins. I thought this would make a great gift. He can count the coins and put them in one roll. It's quite cool to watch it count the coins and roll them. So far so good.
